Once Upon a Time- Make up a fairy tale using as many of your spelling words as possible. Illustrated dictionary- Draw pictures of your spelling words. Each word should have both a picture and a definition. Word Hunt- Look in books, newspapers, or magazines to find more words with the same pattern or rule you are studying. Write them down in the categories they would belong to. SAW (Sort, Alphabetize and Write) Sort your words, alphabetize the words within their categories, and then write down the sort in your journal. Silly Words- Create a made up word or words. Create a definition for the word(s). Classify Classify your words into different parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives. *Use a dictionary to help you!* Make a Poem Use at least 10 of your words to come up with a poem. Your poem does not have to rhyme
